Meet The Board!

Hi, I’m Lulu Youngerman (she/her), and I’m the co-president of Chapman Hillel. I’m a junior majoring in Integrated Educational Studies and part of the MA in Curriculum and Instruction accelerated program. I have so much love for Chapman Hillel (and the rest of our OC community), and I am super excited for all of the fun things we have coming up this year. 

Hi! I’m Toby Shapiro (she/her) and I am one of the co-presidents for Chapman Hillel. I am a Junior Sociology and Strategic and Corporate Communication double major. Hillel is such a great community to be a part of. I love all of the friendships I have made because of it and I am excited to see Hillel continue to grow and thrive.

Hey! My name is Lily Hodges (she/her) and I am the Tikkun Olam Chair at Chapman Hillel. I am a sophomore Creative Producing major with a minor in Theatre Management. I love to dance and crochet. Hillel is one of my favorite parts of the week because of the incredible community we’ve built. We put on such fun events and I've gotten to know so many amazing people.

Hi! My name is Ella Park and I’m a sophomore Sociology major and Dance minor. I am the social media coordinator for Chapman Hillel. I love Hillel because it is such a welcoming community and I love creating fun events and meeting new people!

Hello! I’m Lars Kahn (he/him), and I’m a Writing for Film and Television major and general board member. In addition to writing, I like playing/writing music, rock climbing, and seeing more of this state. I’m in Hillel to continue being culturally involved with Judaism, as well as a television writing club to practice (what I hope to be!) a future career.

Hello, my name is Vanessa Lieberman (she/her). I am a third-year graduate student who is studying for a second master's in Film Production with an emphasis in Sound Design at Dodge College. I am the Graduate Outreach for Chapman Hillel. As Graduate Outreach, not only would I like to invite graduate students to attend Hillel events, but also create an environment where students can meet each other from different areas of study.

Hi! My name is Tessa Klugman (she/her). I am a sophomore PR and Ad major and I’m a general board member of Hillel. One fun fact about me is that I have a twin brother. 

Hi! I’m Calyn Disbrow(she/her), the locations chair for Chapman Hillel. I’m a sophomore Writing for Film and T.V. Major at Chapman! I love Hillel because I get to spend time with others with similar beliefs to me! 

Hi! My name is Keaton Lewis (he/him) and I’m the Treasurer/Secretary at Chapman Hillel. I am a sophomore Vocal Performance major with a film music minor. I love Hillel because it’s one of my favorite social outlets as well as a great way to stay connected to the Jewish community.
